Frequently Asked Questions

We're a pickup-only cottage bakery at this time. All orders are picked up in the Lake Geneva, WI area at a location we'll share with you when your order is confirmed. We'll make pickup as easy and convenient as possible!
We recommend placing orders at least one week in advance, especially for custom cakes and large quantities. For complex custom orders (tiered cakes, large decorated cookie sets), two weeks is even better. We want to give your order the time and attention it deserves! For simpler items, we may be able to accommodate shorter lead times — just reach out and ask.
Please contact us before ordering if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. Our kitchen handles common allergens including wheat, eggs, dairy, and nuts. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs and will be transparent about what's possible. Your safety comes first — we'd rather discuss it upfront than have any surprises.
Absolutely! We love custom requests. Send us an email or message describing what you have in mind — flavor, design, occasion, quantity — and we'll let you know what's possible and provide a quote. The menu is a starting point, not a ceiling.
Life happens — we get it. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Orders canceled more than 72 hours before pickup can typically receive a refund or credit. For custom items where preparation has already begun, we'll work with you case by case. Reach out and we'll do our best to make it right.
Payment is handled securely through Hotplate at the time of ordering. We don't collect payment separately — everything goes through the Hotplate platform, which keeps your payment info safe and the process simple for both of us.
